Description
SEN College Support Worker - Poole, Dorset
SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a specialist college for students who have autism, profound needs and SEMH, and are seeking an experience SEN TA/Support worker for an immediate start.
Start: September 2026
Duration: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
Hours: 9am - 4pm
The ideal education support worker -
* will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with Autism, social emotional mental health difficulties,and profound needs
* experience supporting students aged 16 - 25
* able to follow students ECHPs
* experienced with SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background
* Experience providing personal care
* the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
* have a clear DBS registered to the update service
* be Team Teach trained (desirable)
