A fabulous SEN school in the Worthing area require three new classroom assistants to join their thriving school!

They are seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Classroom Assistants to join their team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the students.

Role Overview:

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Your role will involve supporting individual students and small groups within the classroom, assisting teachers with lesson plans, following EHCPs and ensuring that each child’s needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.

* Assist in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans.

* Help with classroom management and create a positive, inclusive environment.

* Monitor and record students’ progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.

* Support students with personal care needs if required.

* Contribute to the creation and adaptation of learning resources.

Key Requirements:

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
