4 to 6pm from Monday to Thursday, Saturday 4 - 5 hours

Hourly pay rate:

£12.71 - £15 per hour depending on qualifications

Seeking a kind compassionate person for after school home support of our 15 year old non verbal Autistic boy.

He likes to play music, go for drives, do puzzles, card matching, playing catch, tickling and bubble baths.

Our house is in Forest Row East Sussex, a lovely village setting, lots of nature, with plenty of parking.

Offering hours from 4 to 6pm, Monday to Thursday, then an added Saturday slot for 4 - 5 hours for going out activities like swimming, soft play, or day trips.

We’re offering £12.71 - £15 per hour depending on qualifications.

Duties include:

- Personal grooming

- Eating and drinking assistance

- Moving and handling

- Clinical tasks

- Other relevant duties as required

- Transportation

- Companionship

- Dressing / undressing

- Bathroom assistance

- Keeping environment tidy

- Some occasional Shopping

- Some food preparation

Candidate qualities:

- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Honest and cheerful

- Creative

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

- Must be comfortable with cats

- The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
