We've owned this Skoda Roomster since April 2015 and it has been a great and very practical family car for over 11 years.
This is now being sold as a repair/project vehicle, and we've priced it accordingly. It drives, but it has some faults which need attention, so please read the description carefully before enquiring.
Recent maintenance and service history
The car has been well maintained over the years and has had quite a lot of work done recently, including:
• November 2026: MOT and A-type interim service
• November 2026: Front suspension top mounts replaced
• November 2026: Anti-roll bar links replaced
• January 2026: 2 x Nexen tyres fitted
• September 2025: New 4-year battery
• April 2024: A-type interim service and lower gearbox stabiliser arm replaced
• November 2023: Rear brake pads and discs replaced, brake caliper replaced and brakes bled
• August 2021: 4 x new tyres
There is a good service/MOT history and we've kept on top of maintenance during the time we've owned it.
Known faults
Please be aware of the following before arranging a viewing:
• Steering rack needs attention – this was previously assessed as requiring repair/replacement
• Passenger door currently does not open
• Fuel gauge is not working
• There are some other noises, which is one reason we're selling it as a project/repair vehicle
• Some scuffs to the bodywork
• Some staining/wear to the seats
The car does drive, but it is not a perfect or trouble-free vehicle and will need work. It would suit someone who is mechanically minded, wants a cheap practical car to repair, or is looking for a project.
The Roomster is a particularly practical car with a good amount of interior space and a useful large boot. It has been a very useful family vehicle for us and has been reliable for many years.
