Description
My client is a leader in the Defence & Security sector! They're seeking a passionate and dedicated Functional Integration Lead Engineer to join their Integration and System Validation team. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex Defence systems within a motivated team environment!
Key Responsibilities:
Planning the delivery of proving tests to meet programme maturity milestones and support timely clearance certification for trials activitiesCollaborating with systems and design teams to derive test requirements ensuring comprehensive system level test coverageOverseeing the generation of test instructions, test reports, and supporting safety documentation/processesIntegrating multiple variants of subsystems in trials and operational configurationsSupporting integration of trials test equipment for use across proving activitiesCoordinating with design teams to diagnose problems and determine design solutionsSupporting trials defect investigations and analysing data as requiredDefining test and trials equipment requirements
Job Requirements:
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in electrical/electronic engineering or similarGood understanding of hardware/software integration and test activitiesFamiliarity with general commercial lab test equipmentExperience with data analysis tools/methodsExperience or personal interest in scripting (e.g., Python or similar)Creativity and practicality to work with complex problems and derive logical solutionsAdaptability and innovation in a varied and often fast-paced role
