Temporary Receptionist/Office Support
Are you looking for a varied, engaging role that offers a great opportunity to utilise your administrative skills? As a Temporary Receptionist/Office Support, you will play an essential part in ensuring smooth front-of-house operations and supporting a busy office. This role offers steady work, a friendly environment, and a chance to develop your organisational abilities while contributing to the wider team.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start, notice periods cannot be accommodated.
Temporary Receptionist/Office Support Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
Managing front-of-house duties such as meeting and greeting guests, and booking meeting rooms to guarantee seamless visitor experiences and support company relationshipsHandling incoming calls, checking messages, and managing the switchboard to ensure professional communicationAssisting with office administration including ordering supplies, managing post, and email correspondence to maintain efficient daily operationsPerforming health and safety checks, setting up visitor fobs, and managing parking arrangements to uphold safety standards and operational smoothnessSupporting invoicing and financial tasks to help meet organisational financial processesCollating and organising documents, aiding team members, and stepping in to cover ad hoc tasks to foster a flexible and helpful workspace Temporary Receptionist/Office Support Rewards
GBP13 - GBP15 per hour depending on your skills and experience, paid weekly via PAYE37.5 hours per week, with early start times (8am) and a standard Monday to Friday schedule Parking on-site The Company

Temporary Receptionist/Office Support Experience Essentials
Proven experience in managing diverse administrative tasks within an office environmentProficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to quickly learn new software, particularly for switchboard managementStrong communication skills with a confident telephone mannerDemonstrating initiative, especially in quieter moments, by proactively supporting colleagues and finding ways to add valueAbility to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities Location
This role is based in Oxford and is accessible by various transport links, with parking available on-site.
