Description

Job Title: Administrator

Location: Just out with Edinburgh City Centre (fully office based)

Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 (dependant on experience)

Start date: As soon as possible

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join their busy and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administration professional who thrives in a varied role and enjoys providing outstanding support across multiple business functions.

The successful candidate will be confident communicating with customers and suppliers, possess excellent attention to detail, and have strong IT and organisational skills. This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing a diverse workload.

Key Responsibilities

Providing day to day administrative support across the businessAnswering incoming telephone calls and processing customer ordersAccurately entering and managing orders through to completionPreparing invoices and customer documentationArranging courier bookings and pallet collectionsManaging enquiries from customers and suppliers via a shared mailboxUpdating and maintaining company websites and online shop platformsSupporting and developing sales activity through Amazon and other online channelsAssisting with additional administrative tasks as required

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in an administrative roleStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyConfident telephone manner and professional approach to customer serviceProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to learn new systems and software quicklyA reliable, conscientious and proactive work ethicAbility to handle confidential information with discretion

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience using Sage softwareWebsite management and content updating experienceAmazon Seller Central or online marketplace management experienceDigital and online marketing knowledge
