We are delighted to be offering this very charming 1946 Rover P2 (Twelve Six-Light Saloon), this is now a very rare and well presented post-war British classic finished in dual tone paintwork with its original leather interior.

The '12' is powered by a 1479cc engine, it combines period charm with excellent presentation.

The P2 series consisted of several concurrently produced models that were renowned for their high build quality and over-engineered durability.

This lovely Rover benefits from new tyres all round (receipt for £642) A desirable sliding head sunroof adds to the driving experience and classic appeal.

Accompanying the car is an excellent history file. There are extensive ownership notes from a previous owner, the invoices show a huge spend keeping this fine old vehicle in excellent fettle.

There is a Heritage Trust certificate detailing that the car was supplied by R.H Collier & Company Limited of Birmingham. The 'GOH' original number plate is completely correct for a Birmingham supplied car....obviously locally manufactured in Solihull, Warwickshire.

Presented in very good condition throughout, this Rover 10 P2 offers an opportunity to own an early post-war classic with originality, history, and timeless style.

The engine fires up first time and has been super reliable and well loved by her previous owner. The car runs and drives and stops and corners extremely well and she is very capable of being used for long journeys in her current condition. The claimed top speed is 70 MPH and she returns 24 MPH.

A little about the model:
The Rover 12 6-Light Saloon is a highly elegant pre-war classic car, produced primarily from 1934 to 1948 across the P1 and P2 model generations. Known as a "six-light" because it features six windows (three on each side), it pairs a robust 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine with a luxurious, traditional British wood-and-leather interior.

The car has been fully inspected in our own classic car workshop by one of our talented motor engineers, she is fine running order and ready to go.
