Yamaha 2hp two stroke outboard engine

This is a lovely little Yamaha outboard. It's light weight, starts easily and is very economical. I sold my last boat 3 years ago and got rid of most of my sailing equipment then but held on to this because its such a good little engine that I wanted to still have it if I took up sailing again, but that's not going to happen now so its time to let it go. I got it out of the garage at the weekend and it started 3rd pull, and that's with 3 year old "stale" fuel in it! I got it when it was nearly new and it hasn't done many hours use with me. I have always run it in fresh water after it's been used in the sea and I run it on a 50:1 mix even though Yamaha specify 100:1 because that means it gets twice as much oil lubricating it as is needed. Yes, that makes it a bit more smokey than if it were run on 100:1, but the bearings have been getting extra lubrication so it should have a really long life. I can send you a video (iPhone format) that shows it pumps water well. Due to the weight and size of this item it is COLLECTION ONLY unless you want to organize and pay for collection yourself - I wont' do that for you but of course I would facilitate its collection if you arrange it. If you're into the latest in eco-tec you won't want this engine but if you value the reliability, light weight and good power output of an old-school 2 stroke this is probably the best 2 HP engine you can get. The casing is a little faded. The engine has been well maintained and the water impeller inspected annually.
