Description - Moroccan vintage handcrafted necklace composed of single stand of rounded beads with a cylindric bead at each end.

The beads display variations in tone and texture, consistent with organic materials, and have been hand-drilled and polished.

The beads vary in size and shape and have a smooth finish.
Good to know - in Berber culture, bone is often associated with strength, vitality, and ancestral connection.
Wearing bone jewellery was sometimes believed to protect the wearer from evil or misfortune.
Berber communities have historically lived in close connection with nature and using animal bone in adornments reflects respect for and unity with the animal spirit;

Condition - this was a gift and was never worn. The necklace is new with natural imperfections typical of handmade pieces

Manufacturer - artisan, Morocco. Most likely Berber (Amazigh)

Material - it's an organic material, I believe bovine bone - macros and UV light reaction on photos

Closure - hook-and-eye

Type - cascading design where the bead size increases symmetrically toward the middle

Colour - natural colour with variations across the beads - beige, brownish, greyish

Features - authentic materials, tribal, vintage, handcrafted.

A complimentary handmade gift box and silk paper is provided with this item.

The box is made of grey heavy cardstock with gold metallic embossed panel at the front and inside.

A coordinating tag is included, made from the same cardstock, offering space for a short handwritten message.

Cardstock is distressed with gold metallic ink.

For fastening, I used jute string that is secured to gold eyelets.
