Vintage Econome French Melon Baller / Scoop - 10
Typically used for creating small spheres of fruit or vegetables.
It is useful for making fruit salads or for decorative food presentation.
The sharp edge allows for easy and precise cutting.
It has a wooden handle and a metal scoop.
Made in France
Approximate size: Diameter of Scoop 9mm x Length 14.1cm x Width (at the widest part of the handle) 2.1cm x Height (at the highest point) 1.5cm
Quite heavy at 49g
This belonged to my late elderly Great Aunt who trained as a cordon bleu cook.
Please note the Scoop and Metal part of the handle have rust throughout.
