Bassist/guitarist after something fuzzy, rhythmic, and noisy

Description

Looking to put something together that sits around post-punk, krautrock, shoegaze, etc. Wire, My Bloody Valentine, Flying Saucer Attack, Neu!, J&MC that sort of thing. Solid rhythmic foundation with layers of texture and fuzz but plenty of melody in there somewhere. I don't have any material written, the idea would just be to get some folk together in a room and see what happens, but if you've got your own tunes that suit the sound then even better.

No fixed ideas of the band setup, likely the usual guitar/bass/drums/vox but I'm totally open minded. I'm primarily a bassist (also play some guitar) trying to get back to making music with others, with the aim of having a laugh making some noise, eventually doing some recording, and maybe playing the odd gig if things work out.

I'm a 36 year old guy based in Maryhill so rehearsals in the West end or town would be the plan. Get in touch if this sounds interesting.
