Technical Operator

7am – 7pm 4 on/4 off

We're looking for a proactive, hands–on individual who thrives in a fast–paced production environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. If you're mechanically minded, works calm under pressure, and driven to take ownership while continuously learning and developing your skills. This is a key role within the team, where you'll be at the heart of maintaining and improving our production lines responding quickly to issues, supporting team organisation, and ensuring each shift runs to plan.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

Set up and operate production and packaging lines to the correct standardsMonitor performance to ensure the lines are operating effectively and will meet production targetsMonitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, fill weight, and mixing timesComplete changeovers and running adjustmentsEquipment & Technical Duties

Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting. Identify mechanical or operational issues and resolve or escalate as neededSupport preventative maintenance activities with engineering teamsMaintain accurate equipment settings and technical recordsQuality & Food Safety

Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and hygiene proceduresEnsure all quality checks are completed and product specifications are metRecord production data, quality checks, and deviationsHealth & Safety

Follow all health and safety procedures and safe operating practicesMaintain a clean and hygienic production environmentReport hazards, incidents, or near misses.You will also be responsible for continuous improvement on the production line, be a positive contributor to the team, work towards KPI, comply within the safety and compliance procedures and more.
