General Support Operative

Apply today to work as a General Support Operative for our client one of the biggest snacks manufacturing sites in the UK, producing several well–known brands.

Staffline is recruiting General Support Operatives in Coventry.

This is an ongoing position!

The rate of pay is GBP13.10 per hour.

This is a full–time role working on a rotating shift pattern, 4 days on 4 days off, 4 nights on 4 days off.

The hours of work are:

– 6am to 6pm

– 6pm to 6am

Paid lunch breaks after 12 weeks

Your Time at Work

As a General Support Operative you will be responsible for:

– Ensuring that machines are being operated in safe manner

– Communicating with management on operational efficiencies and productivity on the production lines.

– Operating the production line, ensuring that quality control and food safety is a priority.

– Managing a team of general support operatives in your area of work.

– Completing the relevant checks and paperwork for the products in production and uploading data on tablets.

– Managing the line in terms of job rotation, break cover etc.

– Ensuring the area is clean and strong housekeeping in line with company standards.

The above lists are not exhaustive, and you will be required to complete other duties on behalf of the customer.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be a confident communicator with a positive self–starter attitude who is conscientious and focused on results. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and engage with production teams.

Applicants will be organised, flexible and proactive. You will have basic maths, reading and computer skills.
