Are you an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor looking to step into a fast–paced production environment? We're working with a well–established manufacturer seeking a hands–on and proactive Team Leader to support operations at their site in Rochester.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the floor, driving performance, and motivating a team. You'll be responsible for the day–to–day running of production lines, ensuring high standards are maintained across safety, quality, and output.

What you'll be doing:

Leading and supporting a team of operatives on shiftOverseeing line performance and stepping in where neededManaging stock control, start–up checks, and key admin tasksMaintaining compliance with health and safety proceduresWorking closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flowSupporting rota planning, holiday cover, and agency staff bookingsDelivering training and supporting new startersPromoting continuous improvement across quality, performance, and waste reductionWhat we're looking for:

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong communication and organisational skillsAwareness of CCP and quality/safety issuesSound knowledge of production processes, relevant standards (e.g., BRC, HACCP), and health & safety regulationsA proactive mindset and the ability to lead from the frontConfident using Microsoft Office – experience with AXAPTA or similar systems is a bonus Nice to have:

Health and Safety certificationExperience with production control systems such as SCADAIf you're someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys developing others, and takes pride in running an efficient operation, this could be a great fit.
