The QA Manager role is the critical link for the QA Team with production, technical, process and the customer. Within deadline driven manufacturing environments it's vital that there is a strong QA team, this vacancy will appeal to someone who is looking for a role that has pace and demands quick decision making.

Supplying retailers means the focus on quality and customer service is paramount for this business. The site has grown and continued to develop its Technical team promoting high standards in all areas of food production. This role will catch your eye if you are looking for a role where you can shine as on nights you are the most senior Technical person on the site. This FMCG business has robust training in place to further develop your career along with a proactive and progressive Technical Manager as a direct line manager.

Being hands–on in the factory and with the team, driving high levels of food safety and GMP standards.The management and development of the QA Team.A bright and inquisitive approach looking for ways to drive improvements.Involvement in internal audits.Well integrated with production, process and all areas of the factory.

What do you need in your background for this role?

FMCG or food manufacturing experience as QA Supervisor or QA Manager – essential.Good working knowledge of current QA systems and processes.Confident communicator who enjoys being involved in the factory.Proven leadership skills through building and growing teams and developing individuals.Able to work at pace and work logically under pressure.An open, proactive and inquisitive mindset.
