Hays are partnering with a number of highly successful manufacturing businesses across Northern Ireland who are seeking experienced Production Planners to join their growing teams. With significant growth plans and increased customer demand, Production Planners are playing a more critical role than ever in ensuring efficient manufacturing performance and operational excellence.

Your new role

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure customer requirements are met while maximising operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities may include:

Creating and managing production plans and schedules

Monitoring capacity and resource allocation

Coordinating with manufacturing and operations teams

Managing production priorities and customer requirements

Identifying and resolving planning constraints

Maintaining accurate planning data and system updates

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a Production Planning, Scheduling or Manufacturing Planning roleExperience within FMCG, manufacturing or engineering environments

Strong organisational and problem–solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Experience using ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous.

A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast–paced environment
