We are seeking an experienced production professional to join an established and growing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for regional operations, driving performance, developing teams and supporting continued business improvement. You will oversee the effective running of the operation, working closely with management and site teams to maintain high standards, improve processes and deliver against key business objectives.

Commutable locations for the Area Production Manager: Crawley, Brighton, Haywards Heath, Horsham, East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Lewes, Uckfield, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Ashford and surrounding areas.

Oversee operational performance across a regional areaMaintain high standards across health & safety, quality and operational proceduresManage budgets, expenditure and resource requirementsSupport, coach and develop operational teamsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and performanceMonitor key performance indicators and implement improvements where requiredBuild effective relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholdersWork closely with senior management to support wider business objectivesExperience required for the Area Production Manager:

Proven experience as an Area Production Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership positionExperience working across multiple locations or operational functionsStrong leadership and people management skillsExperience managing operational performance and driving improvementsCommercial awareness with experience managing budgets and expenditureStrong communication, organisational and problem–solving skillsA proactive approach with the ability to implement positive changeWe would welcome CVs for the Area Production Manager role from candidates with experience in Production Management, Operations Management, Plant Management or similar operational leadership roles.
