Job Type: Permanent, Full time. (37.5 hours/week, 8am to 4pm Monday–Friday)

Meech International has an exciting opportunity available for a Production Operative to join our growing team based in Witney, Oxfordshire. What we do:

We have four separate divisions: Static Control, Web Cleaning, Compressed Air Technology and Surface Cleaning Systems. Each division is interconnected through applications in various sectors.

We work in a large number of diverse industries all over the world, including pharmaceutical, food & beverage and the emerging EV Battery market, where we are at the forefront of development in specialist contamination removal and static control.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor the main activities and responsibilities will include;

Assembly and build of the Meech Product ranges, adhering to work instructions, quality standards, production schedules etc. as required;The role involves the use of a range of hand tools and machine tools to build machines, and some experience of electro mechanical assemblies would be advantageous.Assisting with packing/despatch, test and administration when necessary;Build 'kits' of components when required;Cross–training on assembly of different Meech products;Working and communicating effectively in the spirit of mutual assistance and teamwork;Notifying relevant personnel of amendments required to work instructions, BOMs, etc;Contributing ideas that may support continuous improvement in terms of production methods, efficiency, new products, jigs/tooling, processes, etc;Maintenance of a tidy, safe and efficient work environment;Adhering to all relevant health and safety requirements at all times;Notifying the Purchaser/Stock Controller in a timely manner when stocks of components are becoming low;Assisting with the annual stocktake and interim stock counts as required.Requirements:

Based at Meech's UK head office in Witney, Oxfordshire;Team spirit and flexible, helpful attitude;This is a full–time role (37 hours per week, 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday).Experienced in mechanical or electro mechanical assembly in a 'hands on' role is desirable or a keen interest in electro mechanical machines and how they work as a minimum.Practical, problem solver with 'can do' attitude.Technical/engineering qualifications would be advantageousInterested to learn new skills and knowledge.An individual with technical/engineering ambitions.If you have the skills and experience to become our Production Operative, pleaseapply now.
