Book Binder / Print Finisher – Worksop

Location: Worksop

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £29,328 per annum

Start Date: Immediate

Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Book Binder / Print Finisher to join their busy production team based in Worksop.

This is a hands-on role involving book finishing, operating machinery and preparing completed products for dispatch.

Previous experience within print finishing or paper production would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Setting up and operating machinery used in paper processing and finishing.

*

Monitoring equipment to ensure production runs efficiently throughout the day.

*

Carrying out routine maintenance in line with planned schedules.

*

Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.

*

Completing quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards.

*

Taking responsibility for allocated tasks and ensuring work is completed accurately.

*

Following production instructions and specifications to achieve the required results.

*

Working in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and company policies.

Candidate Requirements

*

Previous experience within print finishing, bookbinding or a similar production environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

*

Willingness to learn new skills and work across different areas of production.

*

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

*

Good attendance, punctuality and reliability.

*

Understanding of paper sizes and excellent attention to detail.

*

Practical approach to problem-solving with good basic literacy and numeracy skills.

*

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently when required.

*

Ability to undertake manual handling and physical duties associated with the role.

*

Reliable means of travelling to the workplace.
