Description

Multi–Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: GBP44,000 per year

Shift Pattern: Monday Friday Double Days 06 00 / 14 00

Early Finish Fridays: 06 30 / 12 00

Holiday: 33 Days Annual Leave

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

The Opportunity

A well–established and growing food manufacturing business is looking to add a Multi–Skilled Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. This is a great opportunity to join a fast–paced production environment where you will play a key role in maintaining high–performing machinery and ensuring smooth factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment

Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime

Fault find on both electrical and mechanical systems

Work closely with production teams to maintain efficient operations

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department

Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and food manufacturing standards

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in either Discipline

Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment is beneficial

Strong fault–finding and problem–solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast–paced production setting

Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred
