What You'll Be Doing

As a skilled operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining production systems within a chemical processing environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring safe production, consistent product quality and reliable equipment performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment in line with site proceduresSupporting both planned and reactive maintenance activitiesMaking in–process adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyDiagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues where possibleWorking collaboratively with other engineers and operators to support production targetsMaintaining accurate operational records and system dataFollowing all site safety standards and operational proceduresWe're looking for a professional who takes pride in their work and wants to contribute to a team where every individual plays an important part in safe and successful production.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem solving. A positive mindset and willingness to learn are essential.

You should ideally have:

A mechanical or electrical qualification (apprentice trained preferred)Previous experience working as an operator within a chemical or process environmentStrong computer literacyExperience operating counterbalance forklifts, telehandlers, MEWPs, or PASMA equipmentAbility to read and interpret P&ID drawingsExperience with maintenance management systems such as SAP (desirable)Familiarity with PLC or SCADA systems (advantageous)A flexible, team–focused attitude and a skilled approach to problem solvingThis role is ideal for a technically skilled individual who enjoys working in a fast–paced production environment.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a structured 24/7 shift rota:

4 on / 4 off shift pattern2–day shifts followed by 2–night shiftsCallout participation during rest daysAfter 7 cycles, you receive 18 consecutive days offThe first 2 and last 2 of those days are on callThis schedule offers excellent extended time off while maintaining a strong team on site.

Salary & Benefits

Total Annual Package: 52,929

Basic Salary: 36,916Shift Allowance: 10,417Contracted Overtime: 5,596Contracted overtime covers callout hours associated with the shift rota.
