Mechanical Production Operative – Ongoing Role

Eastleigh | £14.29 per hour (rising to £15.40 after 13 weeks) | 40 hours per week

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Production Operative to join our client’s busy manufacturing team in Eastleigh. This is an ongoing role with great long-term potential.

About the role:

This is a practical, workshop-based role involving the assembly of components including couplings, engines, electric motors, and pump body units. You’ll be working from manufacturing drawings, ensuring all assemblies are completed to high standards and within set deadlines.

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience working with engines – this is essential

Previous use of tools, either professionally or as a hobby/interest

Experience in a production or assembly environment

Ability to read and follow assembly drawings/instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Able to work independently and use initiative

Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn

Mechanical understanding and technical mindset

Hours & Pay:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30 / Friday: 07:00 – 13:40 hours per week

£14.29 per hour, increasing to £15.40 after 13 weeks (continuous)
