Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer job in Norfolk:
Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and automated test equipmentCollaborate with hardware engineers to optimise manufacturing processesEvaluate new and existing production lines to identify improvements to manufacturing processes, analytical requirements, and equipment; advise appropriate engineering personnel on manufacturability, process robustness, and equipment requirementsEnsure the smooth transition of new products into manufacturing (NPI)Document software architecture, code, and system configurations
Key skills and experience required for the Manufacturing Engineer job:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / HND / Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related industry qualificationExperience in production engineeringStrong knowledge of manufacturing engineering relating to Electronics, Software, and AutomationFamiliarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems
