Are you a semi–skilled Fabricator/Welder?

This could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a Grade 3 Fabricator/Welder at Caterpillar, you'll have the chance to collaborate with and contribute to a team of experienced Fabricator/Welders, enhancing your skills and building your career.

In this role you will perform basic fabrication/welding tasks.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Weld, fabricate, and tack components and sub–assemblies of generator sets.Operate manual and automatic MIG welding machines.Repair and rework production parts.Compliance with safety and quality standards.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Interprets prints, plan methods and sequence of work.Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.Uphold Caterpillar's Values in Action.Any other appropriate duties.Essential Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Fabrication/Welding or minimum 12 months experience.Able to understand and follow detailed verbal instructions and perform basic maths.Ability to conduct the physical aspects of the position, including tasks performed at height.Ability to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns.Desired Qualifications:

Experience in lean manufacturing.Ability to use slinging equipment and cranes to move materials.Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures and squares to ensure work accuracy and compliance with specifications.Attention to detail to meet quality standards.Ability to prioritise and organise sequence of work.Benefits:
