Description
We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative manufacturing business seeking a Documentation Engineer / Bills of Materials (BOM) & Item Master Controller to take ownership of critical product data, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and engineering change control processes.
Key Responsibilities
The Bills of Materials (BOM) specialist will be owning and governing Item Master data within Business Central.
Creating and maintaining accurate multi-level BOM structures.
Managing BOM revisions, effectivity dates, and engineering change implementation.
Supporting MRP planning activities and resolving data-related planning exceptions.
Driving master data standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Acting as the key link between Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teams.Key Attributes
3 years' experience in manufacturing, planning, engineering, or master data management.
Strong understanding of BOM structures and MRP principles.
The BOM Specialist will need to have good ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Business Central.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within discrete manufacturing, assembly, or engineered products environments.
