We are a 3rd party logistics company supplying retail products to the high street and internet customers on behalf of numerous clients. We work with many well–known brands and major High Street stores on a daily basis, to fulfil their order requirements. We are seeking an experienced and driven Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy distribution warehouse. Working within the management team, the role is critical in ensuring productivity targets, safety standards and service levels are consistently achieved.

Shift Manager Roles and responsibilities:

Liaise with Supervisors / Team Leaders to plan day to day running of the operation, ensuring orders are completed on time and in full. Priority setting with the teams on in/outbound tasking across multiple clients. Ensuring all orders are processed on time & to customers standards. Liaising with external clients daily via phone & email. Managing inventory / stock queries. Ensure all relevant paperwork is processed and stored correctly for filing. Managing staffing levels on a daily / weekly basis and People management Maintaining and enforcing strict security protocols and role modelling Health & Safety best practise across the site. Keyholder with responsibility for opening/closing site.

Requirements for the Shift Manager

An initiative–taking and independent personality with the ability to manage workload and prioritise appropriately. Attention to detail. Strong decision–making skills. Innovation & creativity, the ability to bring new ideas to life. Able to work alternate shifts. Good written English for emailing internal & external customers.
