Salary: GBP40,000 per annum

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full–time)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join their busy and fast–paced logistics operation based in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional with a strong background in coordinating HGV movements and managing day–to–day transport activities.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring efficient routing and scheduling of HGVsAct as the main point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions and ongoing supportMonitor vehicle movements to ensure timely deliveries and collectionsEnsure full compliance with transport legislation, including driver hours and tachograph regulationsLiaise with internal teams, customers, and third–party providers to maintain service levelsManage and resolve any transport–related issues or delays proactivelyMaintain accurate transport records and documentationSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the transport function Requirements: Proven experience in a Transport Coordinator or similar roleStrong knowledge of HGV operations and UK transport regulationsExcellent organisational and problem–solving skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast–paced environmentStrong communication skills and a proactive approachCompetent in transport planning systems and Microsoft Office What s on Offer: Competitive salary of GBP40,000 per annumMonday to Friday working pattern (no weekends)Opportunity to join a well–established and growing organisationSupportive team environment with opportunities for development How to Apply: To apply for this role, please email (url removed), call (phone number removed), or apply online.
