Senior Import LCL Operator

Description

Our client, a leading provider of Global Storage and Freight Forwarding / Supply Chain Solutions, providing global controlled storage and supply chain services around the UK and the World, are looking for a Senior Import LCL Operator to join their team in Witham, Essex.

On Offer:

Main Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Director, working within the company s growing deep sea import LCL department, handling import sea freight operations from start to finish.

Duties & Responsibilities Senior Import LCL Operator:

Arranging sea import bookings Dealing with overseas offices and partners Working start to finish on files Processing sales and purchases Updating new client bookings in shared drives with pricing Looking after key accounts Raising Invoices Managing direct client accounts Ensure customer queries and complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively in line with the companies policies and procedures.

To Be Considered for the Senior Import LCL Operator:

Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word. Have a proven background & knowledge of ocean import freight forwarding / shipping. Must be able to work under occasional pressure and always to a time scale. Able to work with other employees at all levels in a fast pace and sometimes noisy environment, work both independently and under instruction.
