Salary: 38,000 – 45,000 (DOE)

A well–established and growing transport company is seeking a reliable and experienced Night Driver/Manager to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. This company is known for delivering exceptional logistics solutions and fostering a supportive, team–focused work culture.

As a Night Driver/Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth nighttime operations. You'll be responsible for managing a team of drivers, coordinating schedules, and handling deliveries efficiently and safely throughout the night.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) driving licences.Proven experience in night driving and team management.Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Excellent knowledge of Southeast UK routes and logistics operations.Flexibility to work five nights per week, with additional overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles during night shifts.Supervise and support the night driving team, providing guidance and direction.Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and company standards.Plan and optimise delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency.Respond to and resolve any operational issues or emergencies that occur overnight.Liaise with management to maintain smooth communication across shifts.WR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
