Optical Assistant - Role Overview

Working across two well-established practices in LeicesterPart-time: 2-3 days per weekHours: 9am-5.30pmOnly 1 in 4 Saturdays requiredWelcoming patients and providing a first-class customer experienceSupporting the Optometrists and wider team in day-to-day practice operationsAdvising patients on suitable frames and lensesHandling contact lens enquiries and ordersAssisting with remote edging and working with a range of Essilor lensesHelping with the styling and presentation of a varied eyewear collection, including designer and high-street brandsSalary of GBP27,000-GBP28,000 pro rata, depending on experience Optical Assistant - Requirements

Previous experience as an Optical Assistant is essentialConfident in dispensing and comfortable working independently when neededStrong communication and customer service skillsPassion for community-focused care and building long-term patient relationshipsProfessional, approachable, and eager to be part of a close-knit team This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant who enjoys variety, patient care and being part of an independent practice where your input is valued.
