Description
Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Various Council Properties
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter to carry out repairs, maintenance, renewals, and refurbishment works across occupied and vacant housing properties and other Council-owned buildings. You’ll diagnose and resolve building faults, complete repairs to a high standard, and ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake all aspects of carpentry repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments.
Diagnose building faults and apply effective, lasting solutions.
Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet service standards.Essential Requirements:
Completed Carpentry apprenticeship / City & Guilds SCQF-6 / NVQ qualification or demonstrable time-served experience.
Health & Safety training relevant to the role.
Valid UK driving licence.
