Very Rare Yamaha APX-6S Electro Acoustic Guitar Japan MIJ 1990

Description

Up for sale is a very rare guitar - Yamaha APX-6S.

What makes this guitar very rare and rather special is the fact that it belongs to the earliest production batch, which was made in Japan, when later on the whole line were moved to the far East. In other words this is one of the few rarely popped up on a 2nd hand market, as these guitars were made with the highest possible quality, using the best materials.

Specs:

24 frets
Active preamp system with an internal microphone and a piezo pickup, the output can be mixed all the way from 100% mic to 100% piezo with an adjustment dial.
Treble/bass/volume EQ dials
Output jack integrated into strap pin
Slimline electric guitar-styled body/neck/headstock
The guitar is in very good condition overall. It has some slight age related wear and tear, but looks really gorgeous: every single dent and scratch on the finish tells the story of the instrument and are the signs of a true vintage look, you won't find on the modern guitars.

The frets are great (about 80% left). The guitar was fully cleaned and set up with Rotosound 11-52 strings.

The guitars can be safely delivered within the UK. Also local pickup or meeting halfway is an option.
