Jeff has been an exceptional English tutor to my daughter. His lessons are meticulously prepared. His mastery of subject matter, combined with unwavering patience and a passion for teaching has made studying English with him challenging and fun. My daughter quite often “complains” how difficult some of Jeff’s assignments are, and yet really looking forward to having the English lesson. She has gained confidence in English and improved her scores significantly. I feel lucky that we found Jeff as her tutor.

Jeff is an outstanding English tutor. He has now taught two of my children (and will likely teach a third when she gets to GCSE years). The improvement in my son's marks for his GCSE were incredible. He had been given a 4 in his mock and his teacher felt he might be able to get a 6 at a stretch but more likely a 5. We started lessons with Jeff and he turned things around very dramatically. My son achieved an 8 in GCSE Literature and a 7 in GCSE Language. My second child to work with Jeff is now in year 10. After just a couple of months working with Jeff his English grades went from 40% to 70 %. On top of these results my children have just really enjoyed there lessons with Jeff. This is no mean feat for teenage boys and English! I should say both my children were keen to make an improvement to their grades but Jeff got them engage in the material and enable them to analyse the key texts and poems. I have also found Jeff reliable and easy to communicate with. I have no hesitation in recommending Jeff.
