Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL
English Lessons For Adults

Description

1. About Me:

I have a degree in English and History and a CELTA qualification for teaching English language.

In Japan I taught in a Tokyo university. In Spain(Valencia and Madrid) I taught in private language schools. In Austria I taught in state schools in cities, towns and villages on short courses that included drama activities (play writing and acting). In the UK I taught in further education colleges and private language schools including EF and Bell. I have taught Spanish students on a popular online site.

I teach all levels, beginners to advanced. I only teach 18 + adult students.

My classes are relaxed. If you make mistakes, I will never be angry. Making mistakes is part of learning.

2. About The Lessons:

Lessons either online or face-to-face in central London, in a cafe or (in summer) in a park.

Easy, fun method for learning with pictures. See video.

Lesson method:

1. You choose a topic for the lesson, including grammar topics.
2. Before the lesson, I draw pictures to explain the topic.
3. In the lesson, we discuss the pictures in English and I correct your mistakes.
4 Finally, we have some general conversation practice on the same topic.

Fees: £30 per hour. First 20 minute 'example lesson' free.
