Description
XYZ Turner
Contek are recruiting for an XYZ Turner in a company based near Nailsea in an sub-contract machine shop that have been in business for many years now.
This position is suitable for a time served engineer who enjoys the manual side of machining and enjoys a variety of work.
Responsibilities:
Machining using an XYZ Lathe Creating components from customer drawings within tight tolerences Ability to work without instruction Identify more efficient machining methods to benefit your own work without impacting the quality of machined components. Desired:
Time served engineer Ideally apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation Experience working XYZ Proturn lathes or similar Hours:
38 Hours per week, flexible hours offered.
