An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Bristol & South West region based at our Bristol Office

Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the day to day financial, cost control and reporting of one or more developments.

This is a great career development opportunity within our business, as you will be involved in all stages of the project and your duties will include;

Supporting project delivery whilst achieving target marginsEnsuring all necessary contractual processes have been observed and notices issued,Preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts including all necessary measurementThe management of the variation accountSite visits to monitor subcontractor activity and build up payments and working closely with site teams and clients.With excellent people skills, you will develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and your colleagues across the Regeneration division.

We are looking for a proactive, talented and ambitious individual ideally with a formal qualification in a relevant subject and with previous quantity surveying and NHF SOR experience within the construction industry.

You will be client-driven, with strong decision making and communication skills, and have the ability to prioritise work against tight deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and work well within a team.
