Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Marine Engineering Training Instructor on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Faslane depot.

As a Marine Engineering Training Instructor, you ll have a role that s out of the ordinary. Providing specialist engineering and nuclear expertise to the training design process. You ll have the opportunity to support the development of the recently established Skills business, which provides a wide range of engineering training courses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver classroom and simulator based training to Nuclear Propulsion Plant Operators and Marine Engineering Equipment MaintainersCollaborating with the training design team to update the courseware based on technical changes and identifying the impact of those changesProviding SME support to evaluate technical data and notifications of change on existing Marine Engineering and Nuclear Steam Raising Plant coursewareDelivering additional training (Confined Space, Working at Height, etc.) to students outside the ACTS program, ensuring it meets prescribed quality and cost standardsSupporting the routine review and revision of the courseware.

Skills and Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of Naval Nuclear Steam Raising Plant operationRecent experience in this field with both up–to–date knowledge and hands–on practical skillsComfortable working both collaboratively and autonomouslyBe an engaging communicator with the ability to capture audience attention and deliver information effectively.Royal Navy Submarine Service: Category A or B Watchkeeping Qualification
