Description

HMH in Kintore are seeking Machinists to join the existing Workshop team. To be successful in this CNC Machinist role you will have a sound machining background, be confident in programming CNC mills and lathes, and working within tight tolerances.

Main Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines including VTL to produce products that meet required specifications

Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental and quality expectations whilst supporting a production schedule

Accurately complete all required documentation

Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any non-conformities

Qualifications and Skills:

Time served Machinist or equivalent qualification.

Experience of Horizonal Borer KBM 135 CL and Vertical Turning Centre Hankook VT8 250 E

Experience in programming with Fanuc controller is essential for this role

Demonstrable knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment

Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications

Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
