Bench Joiner
Location: Northampton
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30- 16:30: Friday 07:30-14:30
Salary : GBP34,000 - GBP40,000 depending on experience
Interaction Recruitment are hiring for skilled Bench Joiners. Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of high-end shop fit outs, and have some highly prestigious clients which includes several Premier League Football Clubs.
Due to their current workload and future work we are looking for experienced bench joiners to manufacture fitted furniture, cabinets, reception counters, storage units, panelling, solid surface work tops and counters. Working with all types of laminates and sheet materials.
You must have experience working with MDF, Chipboard, Solid Wood, Veneers and Veneered Materials for their wide range of bespoke products that they manufacture.
Main Duties
Set up and operation of a variety of woodworking machines and use of various hand toolsStudy plans and drawings of items to be constructed or repairedPlan sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performedMark outline or dimension of parts on paper or timber, according to plan or drawing specifications;Set up and operation of woodworking machinery
This is a permanent position offering security in a company who manufacture high specification fit out and construction projects throughout the UK.
A CSCS card for this position would be advantageous but is not essential due to it being in a factory and shop fitting.
