Overview
Fuel Recruitment is working with a well-established organisation within the UK telecoms sector that’s looking to appoint a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in electrical design, working on critical telecoms infrastructure projects. You’ll join an experienced engineering team, gaining hands-on exposure while developing your technical and professional skills. Full training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the design and development of electrical systems for telecoms infrastructure projects
* Produce electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation under supervision
* Support senior engineers with design calculations, equipment selection, and specifications
* Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required
* Contribute to design reviews and project meetings
Key Skills / Experience
* Degree qualified (or working towards) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* Interest in the telecoms industry and large-scale infrastructure xjnqpsq projects
* Basic understanding of electrical design principles and engineering standards
* Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD or similar) is desirable
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
* Willingness to learn and develop within a structured graduate role
