An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wiring Technician based in Enfield to join a UK team at the forefront of radar and naval solutions. This is a fantastic role for a hands-on technician with a background in cable and wire harness assembly within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Wiring Technician job based in Enfield:

Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Perform cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and splicing of wires and cables.

*

Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment to ensure quality and compliance.

*

Inspect and test assembled products for continuity, functionality, and adherence to specifications.

*

Conduct continuity and insulation resistance tests, identifying and repairing defects.

*

Maintain accurate production logs, material usage records, and inspection reports.

*

Troubleshoot and repair faulty wire harnesses as required.

Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in wire harness assembly or a related engineering/manufacturing role.

*

Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical documentation.

*

Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers.

*

Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and quality-focused mindset.
