Hours: Monday–Thursday: 06:30–15:30 / Friday: 07:00–12:00

The Role

This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work with a respected manufacturer of bespoke electrical control panels and systems. Serving a wide range of clients, from household names to niche SMEs, the team is known for delivering tailored solutions that work from the moment they’re installed.

As a Panel Wireman, you’ll be responsible for building and wiring low-voltage control panels to exacting standards, using schematic diagrams and precision tools. You’ll play a key part in ensuring each panel is built to perform reliably and safely.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Experience building and wiring low-voltage electrical control panels

* Ability to independently wire panels from schematic diagrams

* Skilled in sizing, cutting, and crimping cables to agreed standards

* Able to identify and resolve production issues

* Capable of maintaining accurate production records

Desirable

* Experience with point-to-point testing

* On-site modification and repair of control panels

* ECS or CSCS card

* High standards of workmanship and attention to detail

* Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills

* Comfortable working independently and to deadlines

* Good interpersonal and communication skills
