Electronics Technician

Location: Horley, Surrey

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join their growing technical team in Horley. This hands-on position involves the assembly, testing, and calibration of precision electronic products, supporting the production of high-quality devices used across various applications.

Working closely with the lead technician, you’ll be responsible for assembling small, intricate components and ensuring every product meets strict quality standards. The work is technical, precise, and varied — ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving and fine electronic assembly in a clean workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and test electronic and electromechanical products to detailed specifications

*

Conduct calibration and functional testing to ensure product accuracy and reliability

*

Maintain and manage stock, components, and parts used in the assembly process

*

Handle product repairs, rework, and quality inspections where required

*

Support the final packaging and presentation of completed products for shipment

*

Collaborate with the lead technician to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow

About You

*

Qualification or experience in electronics, electrical engineering, or electromechanical assembly (e.g. HND or equivalent)

*

Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail – comfortable working with small, delicate components

*

A logical, organised approach to technical assembly and fault-finding

*

Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

*

A full UK driving licence preferred (for local site access)
