Description

Our client, a successful and growing independent automotive specialist, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join its premium vehicle service department in Milton Keynes. This Service Advisor role offers a basic salary of up to £38,000, Monday to Friday working hours and no weekend work.

The successful Service Advisor will join a supportive management team within modern, purpose-built premises. The workshop is consistently busy and currently booking at least two weeks ahead, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term employment.

Benefits:

Basic salary of up to £38,000, depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm

No weekend working; the business is closed on Saturdays and Sundays

As a Service Advisor, welcome customers and manage service and repair enquiries

Manage service bookings and coordinate workshop schedules

Prepare job cards and process invoices accurately

Liaise closely with Technicians and workshop management

Keep customers updated on vehicle progress and any additional work required

Ensure all workshop administration is completed efficiently

Deliver consistently high standards of customer service

This Service Advisor position requires effective communication with customers and the workshop teamRequirements:

Previous experience as an experienced Service Advisor, Service Receptionist or in a similar automotive customer-facing role

Good understanding of vehicle servicing and general workshop operations

Experience working with premium vehicle brands would be advantageous

Experience with invoicing, job cards and workshop administration

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities

Ability to work effectively alongside Technicians and workshop management

Stable employment history and a genuine interest in securing a long-term position
