CNC Miller – Weekend Shift - Coventry
£36000 + Overtime Available
36 hours per week (Fri, Sat, Sun 6:00am – 6:00pm)

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join a leading precision engineering business in Coventry.
You’ll be setting, operating, and editing programs on 4-axis and 6-axis CNC milling machines, producing high-accuracy components for the advanced manufacturing and motorsport sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Set, operate, and edit programs on 4-axis and 6-axis CNC mills
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Machine components ranging from 100mm to 2000mm DIA
Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers, and gauges
Maintain quality standards, accuracy, and productivity levels
Perform basic maintenance and ensure a safe, clean workspace
Follow all company and H&S procedures
Requirements
Time-served or apprentice-trained CNC Miller
Experience with Heidenhain, Fanuc, ISO, or Siemens controls
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
Capable of self-inspection and working independently
NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Experience working with exotic xjnqpsq materials is advantageous
Desirable:
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam)
Background in prototype or small-batch work
Understanding of additional machining processes (turning, grinding, manual milling)
