An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly polished Live-In Housekeeper / Cook to join a private family in their prestigious seven-storey residence in Belgravia.

This is predominantly a housekeeping and cooking position (approximately 90%), with around 10% childcare support, working alongside the family’s existing live-in nanny caring for twins.

The family is looking for someone who takes enormous pride in the presentation of a beautiful home and understands true five-star / white-glove standards. The property must be maintained to an immaculate standard at all times — beautifully presented, meticulously clean and polished, with exceptional attention to detail throughout.

The Role The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of the residence, including hands-on housekeeping, deep cleaning, laundry and ironing, bed linen and household linens, wardrobe organisation, care of delicate items and ensuring bedrooms, bathrooms and all living areas are maintained impeccably.

A key part of the position will also be food preparation and family cooking, including preparing ingredients, prepping meals and confidently cooking fresh, healthy family meals.

The role will include approximately 10% childcare support, assisting the existing live-in nanny with the twins when required. This is not a nanny-led position; the primary responsibility remains the household, cooking and maintaining exceptional standards throughout the property.

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant private household experience, ideally considerably more, and a proven background working within UHNW residences, luxury private homes or five-star hospitality.

You will be energetic, hands-on and comfortable working within a substantial seven-storey property. You must have an exceptional eye for detail and genuinely understand what “immaculate” means — from flawless surfaces and glass with no streaks or marks to beautifully presented rooms, perfectly cared-for linens and a home that is consistently guest-ready.

The successful candidate will be discreet, trustworthy, proactive, highly organised and able to anticipate what needs doing without constant direction. Previous experience working around children and alongside other household staff is essential.
