Chalet Housekeeper, Courchevel 1850, 6-month winter season with potential for a year round role

Something rather special is opening its doors in Courchevel. Our UHNW private client has just completed a brand new, truly one of a kind alpine property, and we are looking for an exceptional housekeeper to help bring it to life for its very first season.

Spacious and refined, the property has been finished to the highest standards throughout, with delicate materials such as fine woods, glass, silver and marble that call for someone with real expertise in their care.

The principal and their guests will use the property intermittently throughout the season, with 2-3 day stays and the occasional week-long stay so it must be kept immaculate and ready at a moment's notice.

You will work alongside the chalet team, reporting to the Chalet Manager. This would suit someone from a chalet, yacht, private household or luxury hotel background who takes real pride in the finest details. For the right person, there is potential for the role to become a permanent rotation, with lots of opportunity ahead.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning to an exceptional standard throughout the property

• Specialist care of fine materials including rare woods, marble, silver, glass and leather

• Polishing of surfaces, fixtures and finishes

• Laundry and care of bed linens

• Preparing the house and guest rooms ahead of each arrival

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a chalet, yacht, UHNW private household or luxury hotel

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Experience caring for delicate, high-value materials

• Team player

• EU passport

• Excellent, checkable references

Accommodation is provided in a separate staff house close to the property.
