We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable franchise–approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide for a Vehicle Service Advisor at their busy Gloucester dealership. Deal directly with customers to deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfactionManage workshop loading effectively, maintaining accurate and up–to–date recordsBook vehicle appointments that align with workshop capacity and customer convenienceIdentify customer needs and provide accurate, fully inclusive quotationsProduce detailed job cards, estimates, and invoices while ensuring clarity on work carried outCommunicate thoroughly with customers about repair work and additional sales opportunitiesPrepare warranty job cards in accordance with manufacturer policies and proceduresRecord all work accurately, including retail, warranty, internal, and non–chargeable repairsLiaise with parts department to ensure availability of required partsBuild rapport with customers and maintain high standards of professionalism at all timesRequirements of a Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive sectorStrong customer service skills coupled with excellent communication abilitiesOrganisational skills with proficiency in IT systems; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop is preferableA valid UK driving licence with minimal pointsKnowledge of warranty procedures and experience working with commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essentialThis is a fantastic chance for a dedicated Vehicle Service Advisor to join a highly regarded dealership, develop their skills, and progress into more senior roles.
