Hire Desk Controller – Near Mansfield – £26,500

We’re looking for an organised and customer-focused Hire Desk Controller to join their friendly team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of daily hire operations, from managing bookings to coordinating deliveries and collections, while maintaining excellent relationships with customers and colleagues.

Experience in a hire desk, rental, or equipment hire environment would be a strong advantage, along with a confident and professional telephone manner.

Salary £26,500 per annum.

Act as the first point of contact for all hire enquiries via phone, email, and in person.

Provide accurate quotes, product information, and availability to customers.

Process hire orders, extensions, and off-hires promptly and accurately.

Schedule deliveries and collections, liaising with the logistics team to ensure timely service.

Maintain accurate hire records and keep the hire schedule up to date.

Work closely with workshop teams to ensure equipment is safe and ready for dispatch.

Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.

Required Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a hire desk, rental, or customer service role.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in CRM systems (Salesforce experience advantageous).
